DCLI Is Built To Get You Involved in Community Law Enforcement

DCLI’s Law Enforcement and Social Justice Pillar explores the police force as both a civic career choice and a look at the legal system holistically, along with all the career paths that support it – such as attorneys, judges, courthouse staffers, emergency dispatch service providers, correctional employees, firefighters and personnel enlisted in the armed services. DCLI facilitates conversations about social justice topics and the related impact on our community.

Students who express interest in Pillar I will have opportunities to experience activities at the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center, as well as intern with the Decatur Police Department, the Macon County Sherriff’s Office and the Central Illinois Regional Dispatch Center.
